What Is The Conference?
QFIN’s mission is to connect Queen’s University students with professionals in the fashion industry to help them effectively pursue and excel in their passions. With that in mind, we created the Queen’s Fashion Industry Network Conference, which acts as an all-encompassing event designed to complement and expand upon our efforts on campus.
What You Need To Know
The QFIN Conference is held annually in Toronto and aims to connect students at Queen’s University with professionals amongst the various avenues in the fashion industry. For the first time since 2020, the Future of Fashion Conference is being held in person. We aim to further their education of the working world of fashion and help create meaningful connections members can leverage when entering the workforce.
What A Conference Day Looks Like
We achieve these goals through various events such as speaker panels, workshops, keynote presentations and networking sessions. The topics surrounding these events vary from year to year as the fashion industry changes and grows! For the upcoming 2022/2023 year, QFIN is planning to host its fifth annual conference in the upcoming winter with the hopes of once again getting exciting sponsors and speakers to bring value to our delegates. Surrounding the theme of Media and Perception, conference delegates will explore the changing landscape that is the fashion industry as influenced by the media.
