QFIN's X Farfetch: Holiday Edit Men’s Edition

One thing I love to do around December is to hunt down gifts for my friends and family. And I have to admit, I’m a pretty good gift giver. There’s only one thing I enjoy more than buying a gift for someone else, and I have to rather selfishly admit, that it's buying gifts for myself, usually in the form of clothes. This just happens to be the perfect time to do so. Sales are just starting to pick up, the Fall Winter Season is being wrapped up, and there is just something about Christmas time that makes the shopper’s guilt disappear. As such, we’re excited to partner with Farfetch, in order to give just a glimpse of what the QFIN exec has their eyes on for this holiday season.

Outerwear:

Starting off with outerwear, which just so happens to be my wallet’s weakness. The ideal jacket is something that will remain to be timeless, that is to say unaffected by the coming and going of new trends, while simultaneously being unique. Which is why I decided on Craig Green’s infamous Quilted Chore Jacket, and Thom Browne’s Technical Parka. Both of which being a fresh take on traditional, tried and true, coats.

Knitwear:

Speaking from experience, you can never have enough sweaters. Living in Vancouver, I feel like you can get away with wearing a sweater year round, which helps me justify the sweaters I’ve bought.. This year, we’re hoping that our secret santas get the memo, and gift us some nice simple knitted jumpers from Ami and Jil Sander, as well as a statement sweater for Nick, from Valentino.

Bottoms:

Although people often quote this time of year as somewhere between, “sweater weather,” and full on Canada Goose weather, I do enjoy wearing more relaxed bottoms in the comfort and warmth of my own home. Which is why I believe the good folks at We11done have sold me on their metallic logo shorts. They’re simple, comfortable, and as the name would imply, they’re well made. Pranav prefer to dress up a bit more, opting for a nice pair of Rick pants instead.

Big Items:

Saving the best for last, the exec thought of some things that have been on their wishlist for a while. Namely the Dior Jordan 1 and a 41mm Datejust. An unrealistic expectation for a Christmas gift? Possibly. But I can’t hate on one of the most popular, and best looking Rolex models, as well as the Dior Jordans, which despite their absurd price point, are a nice looking pair of shoes nonetheless.
